Day 217: Abandoned rail cars

Today Eli and I went photographing out along the Providence River. We came across old train tracks with an abandoned railway car, rotting. There was something post apocalyptic about the car, skeletal and rusted, sending its angular metallic bones straight into the sky. Tires lined the waterside like washed up jelly fish, sometimes filled with cakes of mud and yielding green growth. The sun was bright, but the wind blew it's warmth from our skin.
